Elasto-Rein® by Rein-Aid® helps promote an elastic, following contact between a rider’s hands and a horse’s mouth. Endorsed by Olympic rider, Hilda Gurney, Elasto-Rein is used for teaching students to develop the feel of a soft, following hand by encouraging riders to achieve the elasticity necessary for correct contact.

Elasto-Rein also improves a horse’s comfort and encourages a horse to respond more softly, which is particularly useful when educating young or difficult horses to accept the bit. It looks like a traditional, flat leather dressage rein, but has the advantage of the elastic Rein-Aid inserts discreetly sewn in. With a leather backing alongside the built-in elastic, the reins are designed to limit the amount of stretch so that a rider’s control is not compromised. The elastic inserts are part of a continuous rein, which makes Elasto-Rein legal for USEF/USDF dressage competitions. Complete with leather hand stops. Pair.
