Styled with a Spanish-cut top, it is handcrafted from premium double-stitched grain calfskin leather treated with Water Resistant Advanced Technology, making it water-resistant, wind-resistant, breathable and crack-resistant.

DeNiro’s own WRAT on the exterior leather and the leather midsole is an innovative technology using hydrophobic materials that are bonded to the leather during tanning to form a protective barrier. WRAT allows the leather to maintain its softness and color, and thus adds longevity.

A full-length rear zipper, bordered by an elastic back panel, has a bottom zip guard. Dual side spur rests provide spur stability. A removable insole with activated carbon absorbs shock, provides a comfortable fit and supplies natural antibacterial action to resist odors.

The natural leather midsole is highly breathable; a premium anti-slip Vibram® outsole lets the Salento offer grip in the stirrup even in the worst weather.
