The Acavallo® Arena AluPro Safety Stirrup has an arm designed to open and release a rider’s foot in the incidence of a fall. To keep the stirrup lightweight and comfortable, the opening arm and stirrup pad are made of a special polyamide material, the stirrup bow is made of aluminum, and the grippy tread is stainless steel.

A unique lock and release mechanism activated by stress is located between the lower end of the outer, pivoting stirrup arm and the foot support plate. Once it opens to release the foot, it easily and reliably provides a “one-click” re-engagement.

• Due to its design and construction of flexible polymers, this stirrup offers a less rigid and much more comfortable feeling to the rider than those made with conventional rigid materials.
• The springing stirrup bow and foot support assembly effectively absorband compensate for short-term and sudden impacts exerted through the rider’s weight from the top, such as during posting, jumping or hacking.
• The design may provide some lessenign of relief in the rider’s feet, ankles, knee and hips, and can be especially helpful for those suffering from orthopedic problems.
